Medicare Rebate

You don't need a referral from a GP or psychiatrist to see a psychologist, however, you'll need a Mental Health Care Plan from a GP to claim rebates through Medicare. This must be brought to the first session so as to claim the rebate.

If you are wanting to claim a Medicare rebate there are various Medicare Funded Services availble. Click below to read the eligibility requirements for each service.  Please note RMB Psychology is NOT a bilk-billing practice and as such the fee is paid in full at the conclusion of each session. The medicare rebate for the session is claimed by you and paid into your account by Medicare.
